I'm a day behind on the workouts because I'm still so sore I can hardly move...made sure to do a lot of stretching before FS today. Plus, I think it helped to loosen things up a bit.

My FS was a lot weaker than usual. Uglier too! Just ask Nat...haha!

I think my totals were something like

45 x5 (warmup), 65,85,95,115,125

Getting back into it is proving to be a lot harder than I expected. Also worked on kips.

Back at it again...Tabata Something Else

WOD

"Tabata Something Else"

Complete 32 intervals of 20 seconds of work followed by ten seconds of rest where the first 8 intervals are pull-ups, the second 8 are push-ups, the third 8 intervals are sit-ups, and finally, the last 8 intervals are squats. There is no rest between exercises.

Post total reps from all 32 intervals to comments.

My total was 263. HORRIBLE!! Especially on the pull-ups. I even had to do "girly" push-ups because I was so weak from the pull-ups. I am sad to admit I have lost my kip. I felt so weak! I guess that's what I get for taking a month off...oh yeah, and I can hardly move this morning.

I got in 6 whole rounds today...a first for me. My pull-up totals were: 11,11,11,11,11,2. Only managed to get in 2 before 20 minutes was up. Don't think I would have been able to do much more than that anyway.

Two weeks ago did Nicole pushing Emmy and only got in 5.5 rounds and my pull-ups were a lot less at 10,10,7,7,5. Not pushing a stroller definately helps!!

Three rounds of:
Wall-ball, 20 pound ball, 10 ft target (Reps)
Sumo deadlift high-pull, 75 pounds (Reps)
Box Jump, 20" box (Reps)
Push-press, 75 pounds (Reps)
Row (Calories)

In this workout you move from each of five stations after a minute.The clock does not reset or stop between exercises. This is a five-minute round from which a one-minute break is allowed before repeating. On call of "rotate", the athletes must move to next station immediately for best score. One point is given for each rep, except on the rower where each calorie is one point.

My total using 55# for SDHP & PP and 10# ball for Wall-balls was 283.

That's a 31 point increase from last time I did it on November 11, 2008. So that's good news. Bad news is I thought last time we did 65# for SDHP and PP because I specifically remember having the green weights on there and getting annoyed that they were bending. But my post says we used 55# so we must have had the lighter bar instead of the 45# bar. I guess it's good that the 55# seems to be getting lighter. Didn't seem as bad today as last time. Of course, that was a couple months ago so it could just be I forgot how bad it was! :) LOL

Went a little lighter on the sets of 3 because I wanted to try for a new PR...which I got! Yeah!

Also, did 1/2 of today's CFE: 10 x 250 m (rest 5x the amount of time it took to row 250 m). Only did 5 rounds because the 5 minute rests add up and the workout takes too long. Em's at school so I didn't want to spend my whole "free" day working out.

Good workout. Legs weren't bothering me but my shoulders were on fire. The last time I did Karen was on August 7, 2008 and my time was 10:34 (with 10# ball) so I'm excited about how much I kicked my own butt! :)
